Cambodia Trip Part 4 (End)

Day 4

Woke and have coffee only .80 cent.. they served with sugar and milk ,, we have no rush to day becos we will rent a bike to cycle around.
We went to the same bike rental shop but we were too late ,they only have 2 bikes left and the other one was too high so we walked further for another shop next block, and we found the shop near the Red Piano bar.. cost only 1 USD .

We need to leave passport for deposit , the quality is the same as the price,, cheap as well. I've got the bad one. Natt headed off me and she rode so fast , I dont know cos of the quality of the bike or I felt tired from the past day? Maybe both.
We have to past the old crazy junction,I was survived tho. We didnt pass check point this time on the same way to Angkor Wat I saw some officer needed me to stop but as Natt was away from me about 200 metres or so.. I cant.
Then Natt stopped to take photo suddenly some officer came with motorbike stop near us and asked where are we heading we said Bantaey Kdei then they asked for ticket so I asked 'Do we need to pass check point? they said 'yes you have to'... ahhhh.. we said sorry then they said 'It's ok , you dont know' very nice.
And they told us the way to temple. Remember you have to pass check point every time dont forget!!!

Not so many people on the way, we stopped at the pond which is lay around Angkor .

Natt rode so fast , I felt really tired but I have to go on. Then we turned to the bad road its undercontruction.
We stopped at Kravan Temple, I let Natt go inside I was waiting outside near men at work as I said I was really tired.

Then we headed off again.
Not that long weve finally reached Bantaey Kdei.

We parked out bikes outside , the entrance gate looked as same as Ta Prohm , These 2 temples werent far away from each other.

Some part of them almost collapsed! They have to have some wood to stick them .

At this temple weve met one family and the man looked at me and asked in Thai 'Are you Thai? then we had a little chat, he is originally from France but his wife is thai and he spoke fluent thai, he said I look not like Thai ,maybe he think that i'm Khmer lots of people said that hehehe. ^^

This temple I think it looked really like Ta Prohm But Ta Prohm way much bigger, there're big trees and big ponds also.
We've been around awhile then walked out.

The opposite side of Bantaey Kdei is Sre Srang it's the big pond people came to watch sun rise ,we planed to come here also but we overslept when we went there the sun was on our head haha.. its noon actually.

We went out and turned left and found the wall of Ta Prohm. Before we'll go on we have to stopped at toilet first. ^^

And took photo with kilometre sign. I really like the shaped of it.

We rode pass Ta Prohm cos we've been there already.
About 15 minutes later we reached another temple at first I thought it was Pre Rup so I told Natt that its Pre rup and we've been here already and Natt seemed not so sure too.
So we parked our bikes at the shop and have some coconuts. The owner was the old woman spoke really good english.

Before we left we were taking pictures in front of the temple and then I saw same guy from last night wearing purple shirt came to us. He stood next to Natt and said.. 'Amazing , you have the same camera as mine' Natt turned to him and said 'No, I have extra memory' He said 'I have 2 extra memories' Natt said 'I have 5 extra memories' Wahahaha..what's competition!!!
So he walked with us inside the temple. He is quite entertainning.

The German told us a lot about the history of Cambodia ,, I was so impress and ask 'you study a lot about their history?' He said 'Not really , i read from the book that the boy sold to me in front of Angkor Wat' hehe. ^^

This is not 'Pre Rup' but 'Ta Kao'

The View up there taken by the German we met in front of the temple.

After we went down to the shop where we parked our bike, we will go on to Bayon and the german was going to Ta Prohm so we said farewell.

On the way to Angkor Wat and Bayon.

The entrance gate of Angkor looked amazing.

This is the surrounding , feild in front of east gate.

Bayon Temple.

They said there are 216 faces but i didn't count!!!

See the heritage from stone window..amazing!!

We also have a guard was looking after our bikes hehehehe.

Souvenier shops.

Some kids were swimming in the green pond next to bayon temple.
LOOK!! It's Dog scrulpture!!!!! (haha nah,, it's real dog. ^^
The maze valley at the east entrance ,, i don't want to enter here alone.. Natt didn't take any pics she said it so scary.

Bayon in another view. Near dusk.

Khmer people were sitting on the mattress eating chicken grilled in front of Angkor Wat.

Bike rental shop,, cheap!!!!

After we returned bike we walked to the street we've found previous day and bought dinner then we walked back to bar street.

We met Daniel so we talked abit and said good bye and oh we told him about the police officer tried to stop us on the way from Ankor Wat and he said 'yeh,, they have to check if you stole something from the temple or not specially if you go by bicycle and have big bag.' Ah,, that's the reason why.. we think too much maybe :P

This is our dinner baguette and pork and vegetable.

Day 5

We woke up around 7.30. Firstly we had the appointment with Taxi driver to let him pick us up at 9 am but as we went downstair and saw the people were waiting for the bus so we went to asked about the information they said they paid only 500 bath and the bus cover to Khaosarn Road in bangkok that's really interesting so we cancelled Taxi and take bus instead.

But..have a look at our guesthouse first.

River View from Balcony.

Coffe Shop downstair. I was reading Vietnam guidebook. Next trip maybe?

Bus ticket office. Lots of people were waiting. Just around the corner of 'Shadow of Angkor' our guesthouse.

View from the bus.
First it was quite good road.

After awhile it turned to be dust and dirt.

Bus stop somewhere to have lunch. It was not so comfortable bus first we thought we will go on to Khao sarn Road with this bus!

Thai Immigration. I felt so relive and joy when i finally came in to the kingdom of Thailand like i've been away for a year. hehehe ^^

Waiting for Bus to Bangkok. Unexpected we have to go with the big coach!! Amazing.

We reached bangkok at 8pm. Not so bad tho.
This is how the story end.
